I-4 Express

There when you need it, I-4 Express is two tolled managed lanes in each direction in the center of I-4, spanning 21 miles from west of Kirkman Road (State Road 435) to east of State Road 434.

I-4 Express is only for two-axle vehicles and buses that have a properly mounted transponder. Vehicles with three or more axles are not allowed unless they are designated emergency vehicles. Examples of vehicles with three or more axles may include trucks, large recreational vehicles (RVs) and vehicles pulling trailers.

Roadside equipment monitors traffic in the managed lanes and toll prices periodically adjust to maintain free-flowing travel. Signs display destination and toll amounts in advance of every I-4 Express entry point. When a driver passes under a toll amount sign, the toll rate is locked in for the destinations shown.
